Take two Kartą du New York'e, Susitiko to juodo brudo išgerti - Dešine puodelį prie akių prikišęs, Stebo žurnalistas, kaip ratu begalybė teka, Niekur neskuba. Niekur nesilieja. Tuo tarpu, svečias cituoja Bulgakovo Šventąjį Raštą, Lyg pats būtų Pilotas, kalba apie auką, šneka apie vienį. Kits padeda tvirtai puodelį ant stalo. Ir taria:

Piano Safari
Tai yra pirmoji mano piešinių paroda, kurioje pristatau savo karantino metu sukurtus darbus. Visi darbai yra glaudžiai susiję su muzikos kūrinių įrašais. Šį metodą naudoti pradėjau nuo 2015 metų, tačiau tik dabar pirmą kartą išdrįstu viešai pristatyti rezultatus. Didžioji dalis kūrinių yra atlikti klausant klasikinės muzikos įrašų. Ypatingas dėmesys skiriamas pianinui - Rachmaninoff'o koncertams ir preliudams, taip pat Bach'o Goldberg'o variacijoms. Be pianino, rinkinyje atsiskleidžia mano susidomėjimas vokalui ir dėl šios priežasties pasirodžiusiems kūriniams dirbant su Bellini - Opera Norma, Schuberto - Ave Maria, Ortodoksų chorais. Paroda pristatyta Kintų menininkų rezidencijoje. |

Canvas / Studio No. 1 represents one half of my ongoing “project” Two Whites.
It is about the ways One paints, and the inevitability of One to become painted.
My room, were my oil painting studio, my wonderful pine Parquet,
were my loveliest work, but what to say about the Walls - ceruleum, bright,
by certain light, hints about secret violets within ultramarine’s shades,
dissolving between greenish chrome cobalt. Oh, much already told,
about so called “Blue Room” which floor I screw on knees for weeks
until undone my loveliest Piece. I promised, ain’t again ever repeating This,
by standing at the point where both Canvases equally are cleansed.
I mean after I completely bleached myself out of Blue Room and
stretched all over floor and walls of following ground of Play - Piece of cotton fabric:
unbounded, sterile, wide and firm sweet creamy as linseed oil soaked by mix of zinc and titanium whites.
Canvas, so called, Studio no. 1.
Near three meter wide, more then 7 long. Without no hint for notion,
about ways for Both - to be prepared, for great encounters of the Acts,
which kept by Future, under the word - Behold, - with certain urge
in demand to speak for human kind, and Will it’s on Journey to Beyond.

By fragmenting and editing Rembrandt‘s piece Bathsheba at Her Bath (1654) reproduction scale, I export/render this reproduction through the tools of painting. By doing this, I mimic pixel graphics, which is common in digital art. While playing with this condition, I‘m balancing between painting an abstraction and representing something within the strict grid. As the distance between artwork and spectator increases, the image appears to be clear. As the spectator gets closer to this picture, the image fades away, because the pixels itself grabs the attention of the viewer.’ |

Ši paroda nėra ataskaita to ką kūriau Kintuose paskutiniuosius aštuonerius metus. Ši paroda, veikiau žymi vietą ir laiką, kada pagaliau sugrįžau pas žmones. Tai yra 2018-tų metų vasaros vaisiai, kartu su artefaktais, kuriuos nešuosi pastarąjį laiką. Tai metas, kai pagaliau suradau balsą savo kūrybai ir šia galiu pasidalinti. Tiesa, šie pateikti kūriniai, saugo galybę paslapčių, prie kurių priartėti, būdą atranda ne kiekvienas. Tačiau, mano kūriniai yra apie bendražmogiškus išgyvenimus, o tai nurodo, jog atsakymai ir visi raktai į paslaptis glūdi mumyse pačiuose. Paroda sukoncentruota ties didelio formato, akriliniais dažais tapytų, drobių ar kartonų. Figūrinės kompozicijos kartu su pusiau ar visai abstrakčiais kūriniais, jungiasi į vieną istoriją ar bent jau sceną, kuriose galėjo įvykti nutikimas. Žiūrovui pačiam paliekama teisė nuspręst, koks istorijos likimas. Aš tik sudėjau taškus, pažymėdamas momentus, kurie jau neišvengiamai įvyko. Tai reiškia, jog to kurį nuėmė nuo kryžiaus – neprikelsi, taip pat, juodo kaspino nenuriši, nuo portreto to, kuriam likimas jau tarė žodį. Galiausia, tai istorijos iš mano kelionių, po kurių niekada nebuvau grįžęs toks pat. Kaip jau minėjau, ilgai ieškojau savo kūrybai balso, kuriuo galėčiau prabilti Jums. Pagaliau šį užčiuopęs, kviečiu užeiti pro Duris ir pradėti kelionę kartu. |
